Applications are open to trade at our 2019 events!

Are you a streetfood trader?  Do you make your own products or handcrafted goods?  We’re looking for traders to join our multi award-winning events in 2019.

At Electric Nights Streetfood, we celebrate local.  We believe in providing opportunities for South West businesses to showcase their talents to local people.  If you are passionate about food and quality of product and want to join the party in Tiverton next summer, complete our application form now!

Each month from May to September (plus a Christmas special), we provide a night market with artisan goods in the centre of Tiverton.  With live music and entertainment, people of all ages come together to enjoy these events.  Our event dates for 2019 are:

  • 4 May
  • 1 June
  • 6 July
  • 3 August
  • 7 September
  • 30 November

We are looking for streetfood traders for a range of drinks and cuisines covering different dietary needs / choices (eg meat, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, sugar-free).  We are also taking applications (on a separate form) for other artisan products such as handcrafted goods, local produce, farmers’ market stalls and more!  Local community groups are also invited to have stalls at our events free of charge (non-selling) to promote their group/activities.  For more information about trading at our events, or applying, please see our Trader Info page or contact us at electricnightsevents@gmail.com.

This year, we have amended our application form slightly to include two new sections: ‘Think Green’ and ‘Farm to Fork’.

We understand it is not always possible, but we like traders to use local products and ingredients where they can.  We also support traders that source genuine products native to other regions or countries.

Tiverton Pannier Market is committed to reducing plastic waste and has adopted an Environmental Strategy for the next five years.  We ask our traders to use eco-friendly products or bio-degradable / recyclable alternatives to plastic where possible.  This year, we have introduced a ban on single-use plastic bottled water / drinks.  Beverages from non-single use plastic containers can still be sold and the Market Café  is also a refill station under the ‘Refill Devon’ scheme.

The closing date for first refusal of applications is Sunday 2 December 2018, with confirmation of pitches by Monday 31 December 2018.  Applications will still be received after this date but will be added to the reserve list and notified as and when a pitch becomes available.
